Job summary

Potentiam Ltd in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Operations Administrator to support the channel team by processing quotes, purchase orders, and quotations for resellers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will manage end-to-end order workflows, liaise with vendors and shipping partners, and help the sales cycle achieve KPI targets, while upholding data privacy standards.

This in-office role requires strong attention to detail, numeracy, and excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Sales Administration within a vendor environment (3–5 years).
• Experience in an IT business is useful.
• Strong attention to detail with order processing and documentation.
• Effective time management and prioritising skills.
• Numerate with good customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Respond, build, and send quotes to our Resellers within Ethos SLA’s.
• Respond and process Purchase Orders from our Resellers.
• Raise and place Purchase Orders onto our Vendors.
• Track orders from point of purchase to delivery to end customer.
• Liaise with Ethos’ shipping company to track and fulfil orders.
• Cover for external Channel Account Manager when they are out of office.
• Responsible for daily order loading and quote activity, including any electronic order processing.
• To support all aspects of the sales activity to help the business achieve both team and company targets.
• Priorities own tasks to ensure agreed deadline or SLA is achieved.
• Ownership of customer queries in an efficient and professional manner to an early resolution.
• Develop strong relationships with Internal Sales.
• Escalate any issues in a timely manner to the Team Leader or Manager.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing quotes, orders and related administrative records.
