Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a driven Sales Executive to join the FMCG team in Cape Town. Drive growth by building strong retailer and distributor relationships across the Western Cape, and consistently pursue new business opportunities to meet ambitious targets.

You will be a key ambassador for our client’s popular brands, delivering value propositions and negotiating favorable contracts while traveling throughout the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
• Experience in FMCG sector preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Driver's license and willingness to travel Cape Town area.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets for assigned territories.
• Identify and prospect new clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Present and sell company products to potential and existing customers, highlighting value propositions and benefits.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Provide regular market feedback and competitor activity reports to the sales management team.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
