Job summary

HotelJobs in Sandton is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive for a 5* hotel to drive revenue across six outlets. You are a master networker who closes deals and builds premium corporate and leisure relationships.

You will source new business, conduct client meetings, tailor luxury experiences, and collaborate with Marketing, Banqueting and GM to deliver unforgettable events. A valid driver's license, passport, and car are required for travel.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with a Diploma/Degree in Sales, Hospitality, or Tourism.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience; 2+ years in hospitality.
• Knowledge of Infor, SCS, and Dineplan is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue: Source new business and maximise revenue from Key Accounts and prospects across all market segments.
• Network & Connect: Conduct cold calls, face-to-face client meetings, virtual presentations, site inspections, and represent the hotel at major trade shows.
• Tailor Luxury Experiences: Create bespoke packages and upscale offerings including conferencing, roof top bar and spa venues for client events.
• Collaborate closely: Work with Marketing, Banqueting and General Manager to execute events and promotions.
• Manage & Report: Maintain client profiles using Infor/SCS and Dineplan; track progress weekly and monthly.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Drive Revenue: Sourced new business and maximize revenue from Key Accounts and fresh prospects across all market segments.

• Tailor Luxury Experiences: Create bespoke packages and upscale our premium offerings which includes conferencing, roof top bar and spa venues to deliver unforgettable client events.
• Collaborate closely: Work hand-in-hand with our Marketing Team, Banqueting and the General Manager to execute flawless events and launch high-impact promotions.
• Manage & Report: Maintain precise client profiles using Infor/SCS and Dineplan, and track your success with weekly and monthly progress reports.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Education: Matric (Grade 12) + a Diploma/Degree in Sales, Hospitality, or Tourism.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically in the hospitality industry.
• Tools: Knowledge of Infor, SCS, and Dineplan is highly advantageous.
• Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s licence, reliable own car, and a valid passport for local, regional, or international travel.
• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
