Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Table Bay Mall, Table View, WC, seeks a Sales Assistant to welcome customers and help them locate products while supporting in-store merchandising and ticketing. You will also assist at the checkout and observe store procedures to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires Grade 12, at least 1 year of retail experience, and a genuine interest in health and wellness. Weekend and extended hours are expected; provident fund and medical aid are provided.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• 1 year of retail experience or more.
• Interest in health and wellness is important.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and acknowledge them.
• Direct customers to products using store layout knowledge.
• Ensure all items are merchandised and correctly ticketed.
• Assist at point of sale and handle cash responsibly.
• Support opening and closing procedures and store discipline.

Minimize risk through process compliance:

• Ensure accurate receiving and checking of all store deliveries as per store manual.
• Ensure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry dates.
• Cash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash ups.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Minimum 1 year retail experience
• A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadors
• Basic computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency Assessment Achieved
