Job summary

Tiger Brands in Boksburg is seeking a Customer Analyst to support the Sales team with data analysis, insights, and reporting. You will act as a subject-matter expert for internal and external databases, using predictive tools to forecast sales and inform promotional decisions.

You will compile reports, study market and shopper trends, and present findings to Customer managers and Directors to help improve profitability and budget allocation. Onsite role.

Qualifications

• Experience using sales software and customer data tools.
• Knowledge of the retail industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from sales reports for analysis.
• Develop methods for assessing large amounts of data.
• Closely study past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
• Create sales evaluation reports and present findings to Customer managers and/or Directors.
• Suggest adjustments to promotional strategies to improve sales and profitability.
• Attend and participate in sales strategy meetings.
