About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng . This role is crucial for providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across the sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, identifying trends, forecasting future sales, and generating reports to guide the sales team and management. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Randburg sales territory and overall business.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and experience with data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales databases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience within the Gauteng region is advantageous.
