Placements24 is seeking a driven Route Sales Representative to manage customer accounts and sales within the Soweto area. You will drive a company vehicle, take orders, replenish stock and identify upsell opportunities, becoming the primary point of contact for many clients.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, understands the Gauteng market, and can work independently to meet targets. This role offers a base salary plus commission, a company vehicle, and ongoing sales training

Qualifications

• Proven experience in route sales or similar customer-facing sales role.
• Valid driverfs license (preferably Code 10) and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with the Soweto area and its customer base.
• Basic math skills for order taking and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Service existing customer accounts on a scheduled route, taking orders and ensuring satisfaction.
• Promote and upsell additional products or services to existing clients.
• Maintain records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
• Ensure products are displayed effectively and stock levels are managed.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and keep it clean.
