Job summary

One&Only Cape Town is seeking a Rooms Manager to lead the Rooms Team in delivering personalised guest care and relations, maximizing guest satisfaction and productivity across housekeeping, concierge, and related services.

You will supervise front office, valet, communications, and supporting departments, ensuring budget adherence and high service standards in a 24-hour luxury environment.

Qualifications

• BTech Degree or National Diploma in Hospitality requirements.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable position in a luxury hotel operation.
• 3/4 years managerial experience in Room Division and Operations, in a 5 star environment.
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Rooms Division Operations; excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer Literate i.e. Excel, Opera, Micros, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rooms Team in delivering personalised guest care and relations.
• Oversee Rooms Division operations through department heads (Housekeeping, Kids Only, NEO Boutique).
• Develop and implement annual operating plans and budgeting.
• Monitor financials, revenue strategies, and staff scheduling for optimal productivity.
• Ensure consistent guest satisfaction and seamless guest services across front office, concierge, housekeeping and related areas.
