Premier Hotel Cape Town is looking for an experienced and dynamic Rooms Division Manager to join our team in Sea Point, Cape Town. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the hotel’s Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance; ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience is delivered to the highest standard.

We are looking for a hands‑on hospitality professional who is passionate about service, has strong operational knowledge and can inspire teams to perform at their best. As Rooms Division Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day Rooms Division operation, ensuring that our guests receive a seamless, professional and memorable experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and oversee Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance operations.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation and room readiness.
• Oversee daily room operations, room inventory, occupancy and availability.
• Drive compliance with hotel SOPs; quality standards, health and safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements where required.
• Manage departmental budgets, costs and resources effectively.
• Lead; coach, develop and motivate Rooms Division teams to achieve operational and service objectives.
• Manage guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring effective service recovery.
• Work closely with the General Manager and other Department Heads to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience.
• Maintain strong communication between departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.

What We're Looking For

• A relevant Hospitality Management qualification.
• 5+ years' experience in hotel operations, including at least 3 years in a management position.
• Strong operational experience across Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Experience overseeing or working closely with Maintenance operations.
• Solid knowledge and experience using hotel PMS systems.
• Strong financial, commercial and operational understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills.
• A highly organised individual with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle pressure, solve problems and make sound operational decisions.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
