Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Service Advisor at a Clicks Store. You will oversee point‑of‑sale operations, ensuring fast and efficient customer service while managing stock, cash controls and staff on the shop floor.

You will train cashiers, manage staffing in line with policies and gently resolve customer queries. The role emphasizes security, promotions, and brand representation to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• Maths and English at Grade 12 level, minimum 50%
• 1 year experience in a customer facing role in retail/FMCG store operations
• Numeracy and stock management experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and control all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage stock, cash controls, and shrinkage to maintain security and accuracy.
• Train, motivate and direct shop assistants/cashiers to deliver service excellence.
• Ensure staffing levels meet the work schedule and labour policies.
• Resolve customer queries quickly in line with company policies.
• Promote Clicks Clubcard participation to hit targets.
• Maintain knowledge of products, promotions and events to inform customers.
• Deliver friendly, professional service as a brand ambassador.
• Support the group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
