Job summary

Clicks Group stores are seeking a Service Advisor to maintain service excellence at the point of sale and to supervise staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences. The role reports to the Store Manager and focuses on efficient POS operations and stock control.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, stock management and customer service skills, with a commitment to regulatory compliance and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at grade 12 level
• 1 year’s experience in a customer facing role, overseeing multiple employees in a retail/FMCG store operations environment
• Numeracy and stock management experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and control all POS operational activities at the store.
• Manage stock and cash to minimise shrinkage and maintain housekeeping.
• Train, motivate and supervise shop assistants and cashiers.
• Schedule staff in line with policies and labour legislation.
• Resolve customer queries promptly in line with company policies.
• Promote Clicks Clubcard to meet participation targets.
• Enforce security controls, returns policies and stock loss prevention.
• Deliver friendly, professional service as a brand ambassador.
• Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on promotions.
