About the Role

Our client is seeking a high-performing Retail Sales Executive to drive sales and build strong customer relationships at their retail location in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and excellent interpersonal skills. The Sales Executive will be responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and closing sales to meet and exceed targets. You will be a key player in representing the brand, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the store. This is a hands-on sales role with significant opportunities for growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Drive sales performance by effectively presenting products and closing deals. Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on new offerings and promotions. Assist with merchandising and store upkeep to create an attractive shopping environment. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for all transactions. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere. Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport. A passion for sales and a desire to achieve targets. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with POS systems and retail sales processes. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays in Richards Bay . High school diploma or equivalent; relevant sales training or certification is an advantage. Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards customer engagement. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical duties.
