Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Clicks Mall Of Africa to assist the store manager in planning, leading and directing day-to-day store operations, aiming for operational excellence and achieving business objectives.

The role emphasises profitability, customer service, people management and adherence to in-store policies, with a focus on leadership, training and delivering results while modelling the company\'s values.

Qualifications

• Business and/or Retail Management Diploma (desirable).
• 1 to 3 Years experience in a retail environment (essential).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to maximise profitability by managing key financial indicators (sales, trading profit, shrinkage, wastage, stock, expenses) aligned to budget.
• Deliver high standards of customer service consistently, through adherence to customer service principles.
• Assist the Store Manager to ensure effective people management, development and staffing in-store.
• Drive and manage compliance to all in-store processes, policies and procedures.
• Be a role model for staff, presenting the image and behaviour of management the company aspires to.
