Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in Pretoria, South Africa, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Clicks Mall@Lebo to drive sales, customer loyalty and store performance under the Store Manager. You will manage daily operations, merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and administration, ensuring brand standards and financial targets are met.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50% or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in an assistant store management role in retail/FMCG operations.
• Financial management experience (budgets, P&L, etc.).
• Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to drive sales and customer loyalty while meeting targets and compliance.
• Execute store operations including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, housekeeping and admin.
• Lead in-store visual merchandising to meet brand standards and drive promotions.
• Motivate and direct staff, manage shifts and scheduling per labour policy.
• Deliver excellent customer service initiatives and drive club card participation.
• Handle weekly admin tasks and maintain staff records for HR.
