Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and drive sales across the store. You will lead a team to deliver excellent customer service, while ensuring stock management, promotions, and store presentation meet brand standards.

You will assist with workforce planning, adherence to labour policies, and daily administration to support profitable store operations in a competitive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths and English at 50%.
• Desirable: degree in Retail/Business Management.
• Minimum 1 year in assistant store management in retail/FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer loyalty to meet targets and brand goals.
• Manage stock, expenses, shrinkage, housekeeping and admin.
• Execute in-store visuals and promotional standards.
• Support Store Manager with staffing and scheduling.
• Deliver excellent customer service and staff development.
• Maintain time and attendance records and HR paperwork.
