Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Woodhill store to drive sales and ensure service excellence. You will report to the Store Manager and lead the team to meet sales and compliance targets while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires strong retail knowledge, people management, and a focus on customer experience. It includes handling promotions, stock control, and weekly staff scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%).
• Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management.
• Minimum 1 year in assistant store management in retail/FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to drive sales and operational efficiency.
• Lead customer service initiatives and visual merchandising.
• Manage stock, expenses, shrinkage and general housekeeping.
• Maintain staff schedules and assist HR records.
• Execute promotional activities and cross-sell/up-sell initiatives.
• Ensure brand standards and store presentation align with image.
• Foster staff motivation and performance in line with labour policy.
