Job summary

Clicks Group in Kwa-thema is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running an efficient store, driving sales, and building customer loyalty. You will manage stock, promotions, and daily operations while leading a team to deliver strong store performance.

The role requires 1 year in an assistant store management capacity or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme, with a focus on financials, people management, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%
• Desirable: Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management
• Minimum 1 year experience as Assistant Store Manager or completing Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
• Financial management experience including budgets and P&L

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to drive sales and customer loyalty.
• Execute in-store promotional activities and cross-sell/up-sell initiatives.
• Oversee stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and store administration.
• Lead and motivate staff, ensuring staffing levels per labour model.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
• Handle weekly time and attendance and HR records with HR.
• Deliver great customer service and brand experience.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving targets and compliance.
