Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Branch Manager to drive growth of the retail mass client base and revenue. You will guide Sales Consultants, build an operational and service culture, and oversee day-to-day branch management and strategy.

Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential. The role includes planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and keeping compliance and risk management front and center.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and applicable regulatory credits.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations with FSCA credits.
• Minimum 5 years in financial services, 3+ in leadership.
• Credit and lending experience and CPD current.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue for Sanlam Retail Mass.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants.
• Lead service delivery culture and client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch maintenance and strategy.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, and risk management.
• Oversee HR practices for direct reports.
• Plan and report sales/service activities monthly.
• Engage key internal/external stakeholders.
