Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Resort Operations Manager for a luxurious resort near Mahikeng, North West. You will oversee all resort departments, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and achievement of financial targets, while leading a diverse team and maintaining top-tier facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, broad resort knowledge, and proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and P&L analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in resort management or a senior operational role within hospitality.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing staff.
• Broad knowledge of resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, activities, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all resort departments, ensuring high service standards and efficiency.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline workflows.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of resort staff across various functions.
• Ensure the resort's facilities and amenities are maintained to the highest standards.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional packages and activities.
• Oversee inventory management for F&B, amenities, and other operational supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Act as a key liaison between management, staff, and guests.
