Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Resort Operations Coordinator in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal to support daily resort operations and guest services. You will work across departments, coordinate resources, and help implement operational improvements to maintain high service standards.

The role requires hands-on multitasking in a fast-paced environment and a customer-centric approach to guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality operations, coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with PMS.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a demanding environment.
• Customer-centric approach with a passion for service excellence.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in hospitality.
• Located in Richards Bay or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily resort operations across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and activities.
• Support managers in resource allocation and scheduling.
• Manage guest inquiries and requests with prompt resolutions.
• Maintain records and prepare operational reports as required.
• Implement new procedures and guest service initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Act as point of contact for guests and staff during shifts.
