Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Reservationist to manage hotel and apartment bookings in Cape Town, ensuring smooth pre-arrival experiences and maximising revenue opportunities.

You will handle enquiries, process payments, and liaise with Front Office and property teams with a professional, guest-centred approach. Hotel reservations or Front Office experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s hotel reservations or Front Office experience.
• Experience using Opera PMS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, guest-focused approach.
• Hotel School qualification would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Handle reservation enquiries and bookings across direct and online channels, including extranets.
• Follow up on enquiries and provisional bookings to secure confirmed reservations.
• Process advance deposits and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare arrival lists and communicate booking details and guest requirements to Front Office.
• Monitor monthly long-stay apartment accounts.
• Follow up on and reconcile Post Master balances daily.
• Review duplicate reservations and monitor availability to make the best use of room inventory.
• Maintain accurate booking records and build positive relationships with guests, agents and colleagues.
