The President Hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Reservationist (Comms Centre Agent) to ensure accurate bookings and exceptional guest service across a high-volume hotel with 349 rooms.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in reservations, strong OPERA PMS skills, and the ability to handle inquiries via phone, email and online channels while maintaining attention to detail and a proactive, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' dedicated reservations experience within a large, high-volume city hotel.
• Excellent telephone, email and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and work independently during late and overnight shifts.

Responsabilités

• Process reservations, amendments and cancellations accurately on OPERA PMS.
• Respond promptly and professionally to telephone, email and online enquiries.
• Capture guest details, rates, packages and special requests correctly.
• Monitor availability and follow hotel procedures and rate strategies.
• Upsell room categories, packages and hotel services where appropriate.
• Resolve booking queries and coordinate guest requirements with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records and consistent service standards across all shifts.
