About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and customer-focused Reservations Agent to manage bookings and provide information to potential guests for their properties in East London. You will be the first point of contact for many guests, playing a key role in ensuring they secure the right accommodation and have a positive initial interaction. This role involves handling inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, making reservations, and providing information about the hotel and its services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Process room reservations accurately via phone, email, and online booking systems.


• Respond to guest inquiries regarding availability, rates, amenities, and policies.


• Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services to potential guests.


• Manage reservation modifications, cancellations, and special requests efficiently.


• Ensure all reservation data is entered correctly into the Property Management System (PMS).


• Assist with managing room inventory and room block allocations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Proficiency in using computers, including MS Office and reservation software.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a high volume of inquiries.
