Placements24 is seeking a skilled VoIP Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage Voice over IP systems and related unified communications solutions to ensure seamless operation for internal and external users.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or CS and 3+ years of VoIP/PBX experience, with strong SIP, RTP, codecs, and QoS knowledge. Remote work offers autonomy and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on VoIP and PBX experience.
• Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, codecs, and QoS.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain VoIP systems, PBX, and UC platforms.
• Monitor VoIP network performance; troubleshoot call quality issues.
• Manage SIP trunking, call routing, and voicemail systems.
• Develop and document best practices for VoIP deployment and management.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate VoIP with other network services.
