Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Virtual Events Manager to plan, execute, and manage high-impact virtual and hybrid events for a diverse client base. You will oversee platform selection, agenda design, speaker coordination, and the technical execution to ensure engaging experiences from concept to post-event analysis.

This fully remote role requires strong project management, client communication, budgeting, and the ability to troubleshoot live issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, with virtual or hybrid events.
• Proven expertise in using virtual event platforms (Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in event technology, AV requirements, and digital engagement tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and maintain high productivity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of virtual events, from concept to post‑event analysis.
• Select and manage virtual event platforms for optimal functionality.
• Develop event agendas, content flow, and engagement strategies.
• Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and facilitators for smooth delivery.
• Manage technical aspects including streaming, audio‑visual, and interactive features.
• Liaise with clients to understand objectives and provide expert guidance.
• Develop and manage event budgets with cost‑effectiveness in mind.
• Oversee event marketing and communications to drive registrations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide real‑time support during events.
• Conduct post‑event analysis and report on KPIs.
