Qualifications

• Previous admin or support experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills: databases, spreadsheets, word processing.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to liaise with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in gathering prospect information and forms.
• Process new business applications and endorsements with complete documentation.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments to support underwriting decisions.
• Communicate with brokers, agents and clients to obtain missing information.
• Maintain underwriting files and databases and keep information up to date.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, correspondence, reporting.
