Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in tour operations, travel consulting, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of South Africa destinations, logistics, and travel supplier landscape.
• Excellent organization and time-management with multiple bookings.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in travel booking systems and MS Office; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and customize detailed tour itineraries based on client requirements.
• Source and book ground transportation, accommodation, activities, and guides.
• Manage relationships with hotels, lodges, operators, and service providers.
• Negotiate rates and contracts for competitive pricing and quality service.
• Prepare pre-departure information and documentation for clients and leaders.
• Provide operational support to tours in progress and address issues promptly.
• Manage tour budgets and ensure profitability for each itinerary.
• Maintain client and supplier records in the booking system.
• Stay informed about travel trends and destination info.
• Contribute to new tour products and packages.
