Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Virtual Travel Consultant to join our remote team. You will design and book bespoke itineraries for clients in Klerksdorp and beyond, using GDS and online booking platforms to craft seamless journeys.

You will research destinations, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver detailed itineraries while providing excellent service. This role offers work-from-home flexibility, competitive base salary plus commission, and ongoing training in the travel sector.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant.
In-depth knowledge of popular travel destinations and tourism products.
Proficiency with GDS like Amadeus or Sabre and online booking platforms.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities tailored to client needs.
Book flights, hotels, tours, and other travel arrangements using GDS and online booking systems.
Provide clients with comprehensive travel itineraries and essential travel information.
Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and address travel-related issues proactively.
Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry regulations.
