Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Sales Engineer for a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will design and present technical telecom solutions, respond to RFPs, and guide customers through the sales cycle while acting as a subject-matter expert.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 6 years in sales engineering within telecom and excel at translating technical concepts into business value, with excellent communication and travel willingness.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or pre-sales in telecom.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements, potentially within Gauteng.
• This position is fully remote.

Mansioni

• Partner with account managers to understand customer requirements and identify opportunities.
• Design and present technical solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proofs-of-concept.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate information.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle and act as SME on telecom products.
