Placements24, a leading telecom recruiter, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across a designated region in South Africa. This is a fully remote position with autonomy to shape sales strategy and lead a remote team of sales professionals.

You will develop and implement sales plans, manage pipelines, coach managers, analyze market trends, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to align roadmaps and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales with 4+ years in sales management or leadership within telecoms.
• Proven track record leading remote sales teams and driving revenue growth.
• Experience with telecom products, services, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and remote presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a remote team of telecoms sales reps to meet and exceed regional targets.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the region.
• Oversee end-to-end sales process from lead generation to complex deals with business clients.
• Analyze market trends, competitors and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular reviews for the sales team.
• Foster long-term relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
