You will monitor network health, update configurations, and collaborate with field technicians to ensure uptime and service quality across regions. A strong background in networking and remote support is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Proven expertise diagnosing and resolving issues with network hardware, including routers, switches, and optical equipment.
• Familiarity with various telecommunications protocols and network management systems (NMS).
• Experience using remote access and diagnostic tools (e.g., SSH, Telnet, SNMP).

Responsibilities

• Perform remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of routers, switches, servers, and transmission systems.
• Monitor network performance and system health using specialized software and identify issues before they impact service.
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers or specialized teams with detailed diagnostic info.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with field technicians and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage remote configuration and firmware updates for network devices.
• Maintain accurate records of all technical activities, including resolution, parts used, and time spent.
• Adhere to security protocols and data privacy regulations in all remote operations.
• Stay current with advancements in telecom technology and network management.
