Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an adept Technical Recruiter focused on engineering and manufacturing roles. This remote-first position requires proactively sourcing and engaging highly skilled technical professionals across junior engineers to senior management levels in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, build strong candidate pipelines, and collaborate with hiring managers to define job specs, market insights, and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter focusing on Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Proficient at sourcing via Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards.
• Knowledge of engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ATS systems and recruitment tech.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for engineering and manufacturing roles.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' technical qualifications.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Chemical disciplines.
• Manage candidate experience and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job specs and KPIs.
• Develop understanding of local and national engineering and manufacturing job markets.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and assist with offers and negotiations.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
