Placements24 is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. This fully remote role lets you manage client relationships, source skilled candidates, and run end-to-end recruitment from home across South Africa.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in recruitment for technical roles, strong manufacturing knowledge, and proven ability to hit targets, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in recruitment consultancy, with a focus on Industrial or Manufacturing sectors.
• Experience sourcing candidates for technical and operational roles in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production lines and machinery.
• Proven business development and client relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with recruitment software and online sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for roles like factory managers, production supervisors, skilled artisans, engineers, and supply chain specialists.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to meet client requirements.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from brief to onboarding support.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients in industrial/manufacturing sectors.
• Prospect for new business and expand the client base.
• Stay updated on industry trends, labor market dynamics, and skill needs.
• Utilize ATS/CRM to manage candidate data and client interactions.
• Provide expert recruitment market advice to clients on strategies and rates.
• Meet or exceed recruitment targets and KPIs.
• Share market insights with colleagues.
