Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Support Analyst to join a fully remote team serving clients across South Africa, with a focus on operations near Rustenburg.

You will diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, document procedures, and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve system performance. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in technical support, system administration, or similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux, networking protocols, and hardware.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving software/hardware conflicts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
• Monitor system performance and implement adjustments for smooth operation.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.
• Respond to support tickets, emails, and phone calls promptly.
