Placements24 seeks a vigilant Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats in real-time from a remote location with occasional Centurion on-site visits.

Protecting digital infrastructure, you will leverage SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and EDR tools, while contributing to incident response playbooks and threat hunting. A quick thinker thrives in this fast-paced remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of SOC or similar cybersecurity experience.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
• Understanding of common cyber attack vectors and mitigation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Analyze security events to identify threats, intrusions, and policy violations.
• Respond to security incidents with initial triage and containment.
• Conduct threat hunting to discover undetected activity.
• Assist in developing and refining security monitoring and incident response playbooks.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend security enhancements.
