Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a SOC environment.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK) and EDR solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and system logs for suspicious activity using SIEM and detection tools.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures.
• Assist in developing and executing incident response plans and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and best practices in cybersecurity.
