Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security disciplines.
• 1-3 years in a SOC, cybersecurity operations, or IT security support.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, network monitoring and common threats.
• Understanding of networking basics and OS fundamentals.
• Ability to respond promptly in a shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Analyze incidents to determine nature, scope and impact.
• Perform initial triage and investigation of alerts and escalate incidents.
• Follow incident response procedures and remediation steps.
• Contribute to SOC playbooks and procedures development.
• Document security events and actions taken accurately.
• Stay updated on cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
