Placements24 is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will optimize manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and implement advanced solutions across production facilities, analyzing data to remove bottlenecks and reduce costs.

From a remote capacity, you will collaborate with site managers, quality control, and cross-functional teams to sustain continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in production engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving measurable results.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage projects effectively from a distance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement new manufacturing methodologies and technologies to enhance operational performance.
• Design and oversee pilot runs for new products or process modifications, ensuring successful integration into full-scale production.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize material flow and inventory management.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to on-site production teams, troubleshooting complex issues as they arise.
• Lead projects focused on automation, waste reduction, and energy efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
