Placements24 is seeking a results-oriented Industrial Process Engineer for a fully remote position. The role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety standards in a virtual setting.

You will collaborate with plant managers, production staff, and other engineers to implement data-driven solutions that streamline operations and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing operations, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of process simulation and modeling techniques.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement new process designs and manufacturing techniques to improve throughput and product quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot programs for new process technologies or automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all process designs.
• Work closely with remote plant personnel to troubleshoot process issues and provide technical support.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements.
