Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a Power Systems specialization to join our distributed engineering team. The role focuses on design, analysis, and optimization of large-scale power infrastructure, while you work remotely and guide projects from anywhere in the world.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in the power industry, expertise in modeling software (PSS/E/ETAP/PSCAD), and proven leadership in complex engineering projects with strong analytical skills and

Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus.
10+ years of progressive power industry experience in design/analysis.
Proficiency with power-system modeling software: PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities for remote teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design and analysis of complex power systems including generation, transmission and distribution networks.
Develop detailed studies, simulations and reports for power infrastructure projects.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers remotely.
Oversee technical execution of projects ensuring compliance with standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders through virtual meetings to define requirements.
Research and implement innovative technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
