Placements24 seeks a specialized Remote Electrical Engineer focused on Power Systems to join a globally distributed team. You will design, analyze, and optimize high-performance power systems for critical operations in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency in PSS/E, ETAP, or PSCAD. Strong remote collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
7+ years of experience in design and analysis of electrical power systems.
Proficiency with PSS/E, ETAP or PSCAD.
Strong grasp of protection schemes, grid codes and power quality.
Experience with renewable energy integration is desirable.
Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust electrical power systems for generation, transmission and distribution.
Perform load flow, short circuit and transient stability studies.
Specify equipment such as transformers, switchgear and protective relays.
Ensure compliance with national and international standards.
Collaborate with project teams, utilities and stakeholders remotely.
Troubleshoot complex power system performance and reliability issues.
