Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Operations Specialist to join a fully remote team delivering operations across South Africa, including Pretoria. The role focuses on maintaining stability, availability, and performance of our telecoms network infrastructure, monitoring health, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing proactive improvements.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching concepts.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and CLI access to major vendor devices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure performance and availability 24/7 using monitoring tools.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents and problems efficiently.
- Implement network configuration changes and upgrades per established procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide critical support.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues.
