Placements24 partners with a national leader in the insurance industry to recruit a Senior Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role nationwide, based near George, Western Cape.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex motor vehicle claims, ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service, with CIP/ANZIIF preferred and a minimum of 6 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster, with a focus on motor vehicle insurance.
• Relevant tertiary or professional insurance qualification (e.g., CIP, ANZIIF).
• Proven ability to manage complex and high-value motor vehicle claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex motor vehicle insurance claims from initiation to settlement.
• Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and damages.
• Evaluate coverage, assess liability, and determine company obligations.
• Negotiate fair settlements with claimants, policyholders, and third parties.
• SecurePolice reports, repair estimates, and medical records as needed.
• Communicate clearly with all parties in the claims process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations and policies.
• Identify subrogation or salvage opportunities.
• Use claims software and digital tools to maintain records and track progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Mentor junior adjusters in best practices.
