Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in FP&A to join a remote-first financial services client in South Africa. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decisions and drive performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, or corporate finance experience, preferably in banking & finance.
• Strong modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
• Excel with advanced functions, pivots, macros; familiarity with planning software.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and clear communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Independent worker with ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Experience in remote or distributed teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget development and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare monthly analyses with KPI tracking and variance explanations.
• Develop and maintain models to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks with actionable insights.
