Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fully remote team serving clients across industries. This role demands advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive critical business decisions from anywhere in the world, with a focus on South Africa operations.

The successful candidate will develop complex models, perform variance analysis, prepare reports for senior management, and mentor junior analysts in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• CFA charter or progress towards it is a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and financial modeling software.
• Experience with financial data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Access to reliable internet and a dedicated home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
