Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Risk Manager to join a globally recognized financial services group in a fully remote role. You will develop and oversee the enterprise-wide risk framework, focusing on market, credit, and operational risks, and design risk models with VaR, stress tests, and scenario analyses.

The role requires a strong regulatory knowledge base (Basel III, Solvency II) and the ability to provide strategic guidance on risk appetite while working with international teams

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 7+ years of progressive financial risk management experience.
• FRM or CFA is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the enterprise-wide risk management framework.
• Identify, assess, and monitor market, credit, and operational risk.
• Design and validate risk models including VaR, stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting under Basel III/Solvency II.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and the board.
• Advise on risk appetite and tolerance and support strategic decisions.
