Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Manager to lead the compliance function within the Banking & Finance sector. This fully remote role focuses on developing and overseeing the company's compliance program, ensuring regulatory alignment and risk controls across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in compliance, AML/KYC, GDPR knowledge, and a proven track record in leading remote teams, policy development, and regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles within financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations (AML, KYC, GDPR).
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and compliance issues to senior management and business units.
• Oversee and conduct internal investigations into potential compliance breaches and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees across all levels of the organization.
• Manage regulatory examinations and inquiries, acting as a primary point of contact for regulators.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals in a remote setting.
