Placements24 is seeking a Senior Online Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and implement engaging online learning experiences for a diverse learner base. This fully remote role within South Africa requires expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and collaboration with SMEs and multimedia teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in online curriculum development, proficiency with Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, and strong LMS administration skills, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, E-Learning, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in online curriculum development and instructional design.
• Proficient with adult learning theories and instructional design models.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools and LMS administration.
• Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online course content with objectives, materials, assessments and activities.
• Apply ADDIE/SAM models to build engaging e-learning modules.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and ensure alignment with goals.
• Use LMS and authoring tools to publish courses.
• Develop assessment strategies and create formative and summative assessments.
• Review and revise courses to improve content and pedagogy.
• Stay updated on trends in online education and instructional design.
• Maintain curriculum design standards and best practices.
• Ensure content accessibility per WCAG guidelines.
