Placements24 in a fully remote role is seeking a highly analytical Senior E-commerce Analyst to drive data-led decisions across sales, marketing and the customer journey. You will collect, clean, and interpret complex e-commerce data, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize online performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in e-commerce or digital analytics, with experience using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce analytics, digital analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Proven experience in data mining, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Expertise in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, online marketing channels, and customer journey mapping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce data, including website traffic, sales performance, conversion rates, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and provide actionable insights to relevant teams.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for growth and areas requiring improvement.
• Perform A/B testing and other experimental analyses to evaluate the impact of changes to the website, marketing campaigns, and product offerings.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop forecasts and models to predict future sales trends and operational needs.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends, providing insights to inform strategic planning.
• Present complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analytical processes.
• Stay current with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis, e-commerce analytics, and business intelligence.
