Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Performance Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will dive into large datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into strategies that optimize the customer journey and marketing effectiveness.

The role requires strong analytics, collaboration, and the ability to influence decisions from home. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, conducting deep-dive analyses, and building predictive models to forecast sales and marketing ROI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or BI with ecommerce focus.
• Advanced proficiency in GA4, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Expertise in data manipulation using SQL, Excel, and Python/R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics, customer journey mapping, and marketing attribution models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Experience collaborating in remote or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to website traffic, user behavior, sales, marketing campaigns, and customer data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking key ecommerce KPIs and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses of conversion funnels, customer segmentation, and marketing channel performance.
• Perform A/B testing analysis and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support data-informed initiatives.
• Identify anomalies and investigate performance fluctuations with clear explanations and actions.
• Develop predictive models to forecast sales, customer behavior, and marketing ROI.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.
